JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT

In existence since 1978, the Joint Powers Agreement provides the community with access to the School District’s fields and facilities through many of the programs offered through the City of Beverly Hills Community Services Department.  Over 90 hours of daily use are enjoyed by the community through registered participation in one or more of the following programs:

AYSO (Youth Soccer) Elementary and High School Fields
BHBL (Youth Basketball League) Elementary nad High School Basketball Courts
Beverly Hills Little League Elementary School Fields
West LA Lacross League Elementary School Fields
Dynamo Sports Club - Wrestling High School Wrestling Room
Gators Youth Football Elementary and High School Fields
Musical/Theatrical Performances High School Peterson Auditorium and Salter Theater

Public access to the elementary and high school campuses through the Joint Powers Agreement is always off-limits during school hours. District requested use is subject to change. 

Elementary School Playgrounds: (Beverly Vista, El Rodeo, Hawthorne and Horace Mann)

  • Weekday Hours: Open for public use until 5 p.m.
  • Weekend Hours: Open for public use:
    • (November – April)- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
    • (May – October)- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Field use is by permit only for groups of six (6) or more and all must be under 13 years of age. 
  • No adult group use.
  • Permits for the fields when not in use by supported community youth sports organizations are requested through the School District, under Civic Center Rentals.    

Beverly Hills High School Facilities:

  • Weekend Hours: Recreational track use is available during the day
  • Field use is by permit only for groups of six (6) or more and High School age or younger.
  • No adult group use unless by permit.
  • Use of other facilities is by permit only and requested through the School District, under Civic Center Rentals.
